There ar eno shortcuts in life.

To be a surgeon for humans you first need to be a general physician for humans and then proceed to a surgical residency like anyone else. You can become a M.D. or D.O. first, but a DVM does not qualify you to perform any type of healthcare or medicine on humans, by a legal standpoint. Though there may be a lot of understanding a Vet already has which will make medical school easier to understand, and it will probably be easier to get in already having a professional degree.

Good luck.

Can I have your name so I know to avoid you?

I wouldn't want my doc be in his or her position due to a shortcut.
