Everyone has taken a best picture; that one shot that made your day; that one picture that made you jump for joy. What is on it? When did you take it? Can we view it on the internet and if so: where?

My best shot was a picture of a whale, fliping its tail up. It took my breath away, and when I saw the result I was in heaven! http://africa-in-pictures.blogspot.com/2006/04/nature-photography-water-creatures.html

The best picture that I have ever taken were Singapore's President opening ceremony for the yellow ducking at the Singapore River, Mentor Minister Lee won the General Election 2006 and also Presentations for the Retirement Ex-Ministers of Government.

Unfortunately the best shot I had taken is from a 35mm camera and not digital, so I cannot share it with you right now, I wish I could but I dont have a scanner.
When we were in a Zoo in Australia, my 8 year old son was feeding a kangaroo and then all of a sudden a little joey kangaroo came out of the pouch of its mother, my son screamed with delight and I was lucky enough to take the photo. The photo when developed was clear so I had it enlarged to 9x11. I called it "one moment time"

It was a rare moment when I was on a boat in the middle of Lake Lure in North Carolina, looking toward Chimney Rock and Hickory Nut Gorge. Cloudy day. The sun breaks through for a little while. I exposed for the sky instead of the mountains, resulting in the dark silouette.

I was walking to work. It was 5am in the morning. The temperature was -7 degrees. I could see the sunrise coming up over the sand dunes. I thought I would take some photos of its progress. I did. I still have those photos but they were not taken on digital camera. The beauty of the photos was that a majority of the scene is black, and there is a fire like sunrise on the horizon getting bigger and bigger.

In 1980 I took a multiple exposure photo every 3 Min's of the sun, moon and Venus setting. The sequence could only be done on two evenings and with luck one evening was clear

I will send it to you when I load it on - in April we went to the UK (we are Aussies) and I took a photo of a palace in the middle of Hyde Park that Princess Diana lived in (I can't remember what it's called, sorry). As I took it, three squirrels were on the fence, and all of the fountains were in the air, and the best bit was that it was a clear day, so there were no clouds.

I don't have it posted on the web but it has been a picture of a friend I had my freshman year in college, someone named Alex. And we were just hanging out I guess, just doing college stuff, and he was playing his acoustic guitar outside of his dorm. It was just a quick snapshot but I like it just because it's cool I guess, just that he's playing a guitar and whatnot. He's a musician still with a band down in Texas now, in Austin, Texas. I am studying photgraphy now in college. This picture was done in black and white and it's part of a larger photography project I have been working on. I am interested in how photographs can be about one's personal history, about your life and what you do.

Photography is my hobby and I have taken many pictures that I consider best and difficult to choose among them the "best" one. The latest one I like best is a capture of candle flame in blackness with the impression of the tree lights floating in dark space looking like flying discs. It's very impressive.
