I have a lump on the inside of my nose that slightly deforms the tip of my nose.
The lump is always there but i'm constantly having bouts of "flu" like symptoms such as congestion, blood noses, crusting and seeping from mainly the side the lump is on. It comes and usually lasts about 2-4 weeks and the side where the lump is constantly sore and makes my face look puffy!
It all started after i was cleaning the house and got some dust in my nose!

Has anyone one out there had similar symptoms?

The doctor thinks it may be Swollen Nasal Cartliage - What is this and how's it treated?

Swollen nasal cartilage, that's new.

Please have a second opinion. If it bleeds and lasts for 2-4 weeks, it needs to be seen by a specialist: EENT.

Those products look pretty scammy to me. The only way I could possibly see them working is if you were still growing, and I don't think that's happening at your age. My advice? Be happy the way you are, and accept your own unique beauty. I know it sounds cliched and tacky, but you'll never be happy if you continue to find superficial flaws in yourself. I have a big nose, too (though mine is of the Roman variety), and I had problems dealing with how it looked for a long time. Then I realized that I wouldn't look right with a different, smaller nose. It just wouldn't fit my face! I made my nose a point of pride, since it's distinctly hereditary through my father's side of the family. Take pride in your looks the way they are, and don't give a toss what other people might think--you'll probably end up happier.

Hi i have something similar, i think it is swollen nasal cartlidge inside top left side of nose. I don't have blood or crusties but i do suffer chronic sinusitis and am alergic to dust. Maybe you could be allergic to dust also. I'm going to see the doctor tomorrow but tonight i'm going to use my steam vaporiser to see if that helps. It could help yours. If not maybe some anti imflamatories (hope i spelt that right) or bathing it in a saline solution to help with the crusties. infections can also cause cartlidge to swell I have a lump on my chest which is swollen cartlidge which has never gone away. Hope this is of some help.

I don't know about that but there is something called impetigo which I had years ago with similar symptoms. Impetigo is a rash like disease caused by dirt that gives you that same effect. Puffy areas around the face that may bleed or itch and look ugly. When I had that the dr. gave me a prescription creame to put on it and it went away in a couple weeks. Ask your dr. about that and if its not that I would suggest putting some Hydrocortizone (sp.) on your nose because that usually helps with rashes and things like that. Good luck and feel better :)

This can easily be fixed by laser/radiotherapy. It's typically a painless procedure. Ask your ENT about it.
