As stated above plus..(Vacuuming and cleaning the ceiling and walls..don't forget all fixtures.)
Boil water for two hours on all 4 burners. Take a boiling pan in each room and let it sit till cooled and start over. (Make sure you have good pot holders for sitting it down on and taking it around the house,) Do this as needed... I do it every 3 or 4 months,

Also think about moving into a house tha has wood floors.
