If someone has a warrant in the state of Oregon, but they live in Michigan now will Oregon go to Michigan to get them?

It's a felony warrant. Identity Theft.

All states extradite. It depends if it is major enough for them to come after you. They are not going to waste officer's time and the expense of going after someone for a speeding ticket warrant. But for Identity Theft most likely they will. They are really getting tough on that issue because it is out of control. Good Luck!!!!

Believe it or not, some states will not extradite for some non-violent felonies unless it is an adjacent state. As the dispatcher said, warrants will show where they are willing to extradite from althought I have NEVER heard of a misdemeanor being extradited (don't even know if that's legal).
Identity theft is a hot-button crime, so somebody might be looking at a set of stainless steel bracelets and an all expenses paid trip to the pokey.
Best to see about taking care of this before you get something really cool like a UFAP charge (unlawful flight to avoid prosecution) which takes things up to the legendary double jeopardy stage where scores can really change!
So yes, every state including Oregon does extradite, but not for the same things, and not to the same degree of trouble. If you were looking at a spell in the cooler for armed robbery, you are pretty much guaranteed a trip back, it just depends on how much they have to spend on getting your happy camper behind back to Oregon.

Limits of extradition are generally specified on an arrest warrant. Each state or jurisdiction can determine case by case where the will extradite from. For example, most states would not extradite across the country for a misdemeanor charge, but would not hesitate to extradite on a felony. When an individual is listed as a "wanted person" in the National Crime Information Center computer, the limits of extradition are included with the entry. Therefore, if you are picked up or stopped in any state, a query can be run against your name.

Depends on how bad they want you. If you get picked up in Michigan, or anywhere else, it is safe to say the warrant will come up and you will be detained on the warrant. I would say they will come get you since it is a felony warrant.

Yes , you are toast.

It will not be if they exdradite you but when.

If you were wanted on this crime and changed states then you will probably have committed a Federal offence because you crossed state lines.

Dude ..your assss is toast

Felony...baby pack your bags you will be away for a very long time and having to be extradited has guareteed you will not get any bail.

Hand yourself in before it gets worse
