I think this is impressive and soooo simple. Use your favorite pasta--I like Angel Hair or very fine spaghetti. Buy 1 pound of frozen cooked shrimp and 1 jar Alfredo sauce. Allow shrimp to thaw a bit in a colander. If tails are on, pull them off. Cook pasta according to package directions. Put a little oil (I like to use olive oil, but any oil will do) in a frying pan. Add a little minced garlic (I buy it in a jar, already chopped). Heat the oil and garlic. Add the shrimp. Cook until heated through. Add the Alfredo sauce. Cook until heated through. Serve over pasta with a nice salad and warm bread. And of course a glass of white or rose wine.

Easy pasta recipe:
Cook pasta any kind will do. Take a little out and taste it to figure out when its done.
Before pasta is done, warm up marinara sauce (plain red pasta sauce.)
When pasta is done, drain it and let it sit for a minute while you finish sauce.
Add an equal part of ricotta cheese to red sauce and stir together until warm and blended (just takes a sec.)
To jazz it up:
serve into bowls and then cut up fresh basil and sprinkle it on top. Also, a little ground pepper and a little parmasean cheese. Viola! This is the fastest meal to make and is really yummy, for such a simple dish. Serve with a light red wine, like pinot noir.
Good luck!

1.grill some boneless chicken breasts then add a can on cambell's mushroom soup to the pan and let it simmer. Then make some rice or mashed potatoes.
2. buy pasta ronia alfredo or white shelld or angle hair pasta and some canned chicken. Grill and spice chicken before you put it ontop of the pasta, don't mix it into the pasta just put on top. You could use beef tips instead of chicken but if you are on a bouget then i would go chicken.
Then you toast a loaf of garlic or cheese bread to add with it bread helps class up anymeal.....then set the mood with wine glasses and candles, maybe a little music in the back ground

one of the hardest parts of cooking is the timing - it is hard to get everything done at the same time
roasts make this easy
cook a roast with potatoes and carrots around it - everything is done at the same time
have a nice green salad ready (sprinkle on some nuts &/or seeds &/or fruit to give it a more elegant appearance)
buy a couple of individual cheesecakes - put them on plates with some berries &/or whipped cream (you can use the whipped cream later if you are lucky)
