I really, really like Kau'ai. (Probably spelled it wrong but you know which one.) There is an air there that takes over, relaxes you. The beaches with their rolling rocks make peaceful sounds as the waves pick them up and deposit them on the white beach. The jungle hike is awesome, you are lost in a bamboo forest along a stream . . . the Na'pali coast is one of the 10th wonders of the world. Anyway, anywhere in Hawaii is good. The Kona coast on the Big Island is nice too. But there is something really special about Kau'ai.

I have been to them all , and I like Maui the best.the beaches are fine,you can rent a car and drive to Hana ,it's a beautiful drive.There is anice volcano that you can take a heliocopter ride to see.Good hotels and resturants.The ''Big Island''-Hawaii is boreing.there are miles and miles of lava and not much else.It does have great deep sea fishing at Kona,but Hilo, on the east side is wet and rainie most of the time.

I love Maui....how can you go wrong there...you can do nothing or everything...I actually prefer nothing...listen to the birds in the morning watch the sunset go to Freds in Kehei for 2 dollar Tuesday night Tacos and 2 dollar Margaritas,,YUmmmm.....Kamaole 3 beach is very nice and accessible...Have fun

They all have the same climate. So it depends on what you like. If you like night life and action, then Oahu.
If you like extreme quiet,then Kauai.
If you like to see volcanoes, then Hawaii (big island)
If you want to watch whales, Maui.

It doesn't matter when, it's paradise there always! Kauai is my fave. It's so peaceful and green there. There's no really nightlife and not a whole lot of touristy things, but that's what I love about it. I've been there twice.
