Do cats have baby teeth that fall out like kids do? And if so, about how old are they when their baby kitty teeth fall out?

Yes, their teeth do fall out. My feral kitten's canine teeth had just come in when I took him to the vet. Based on this, the vet. said my kitty was about six months old. The incisors, the little tiny teeth in the front, fell out and grew in first. Then, his premolars. I noticed his teeth falling out when his canines fell out. They're falling out/growing in at the same time the back molars are - but I believe the general order is: incisors, premolars, molars, then canines.
Also, his teeth started to come in before the old ones fell out. A lot of websites said this was a really big issue and to see a vet immediately. However, my vet (who is wonderful!) said not to worry - the baby teeth would fall out as the adult teeth grew in. Sure enough, the baby teeth fell out within the week.
Also (you may know this already but just in case) you probably want to take really good care of this permanant teeth and use cat toothpaste (available at pet supply stores) and a little tooth brush to brush your kitten's teeth. To make it easier, start with one tooth/row of teeth. I was having a lot of trouble with kitten hating having his teeth cleaned, and this is what my vet recommended. Dry food is also supposed to be better than wet food for cat teeth.

Yes, kittens lose their baby teeth just like kids, do.

Click on the following link to find out at what age kittens begin losing their teeth. There are about 3 questions about kittens on this Purina page, your answer will be on #2. It's a very thorough answer, and I figured it'd be easier to just let you read it for yourself. It's interesting. http://www.purinaone.com/online_vet_cat_qa_archive_category.asp?header=Diet&category=Kitten+Growth&VetChooser=2

When my cats were kittens, I would find little baby cat teeth stuck in the fabric on the couch or on a kitten toy... they're kind of cute.

Yes, kittens and puppies have baby teeth too. Kittens lose their milk teeth between 5-8 months.

Yes they do!! And if you're very lucky - you'll find one or two of them. Mostly though, they end up swallowed. I was lucky enough to find baby teeth from my oldest and my youngest (unfortunately not from my middle child though) and I've made pendants out of them!!!
I stand to be corrected on this, but I think it's around 4 to 6 months that they lose their teeth. And please remember to take kitty to the vet at least once every two years or so to get his teeth cleaned!! (I made the mistake of not taking my cat til she was 6 and she ended up losing five teeth because of it!!)

Yes kittens have baby teeth, they usually lose them at around 3 months, and it is usually when they are playing and get them caught in a ball of twine or some other cat toy.

Young kittens will lose their deciduous teeth and those will be replaced with adult teeth. The long teeth on either side, top and bottom are the canine teeth. These usually fall out at about 5-6 months of age and will be replaced. If a new tooth does not erupt, please consult your veterinarian.

And they swallow them most of the time.

They actually do, I find it rather disgusting when they aren't swallowed and are just left lying around..... And it really depends, they could fall out as early as lets say 2-4 months and as late as well basically whenever!!!

yes they loose baby teeth, the adult teeth grow in under the baby fangs,so it will look like they have two fangs on each side, the adult teeth finally push the baby one out and most often they will swallow them.they will usually loose them at about 6 months.
