well i will tell u about a project that i did during my schooling::
IT goes like this :
Title : Artificial snowfall
materials required: boric acid (solid), wet cloth (towel), toys to fancy things, crucible(china clay), tripod stand, candle and handy matchsticks, wiremesh
principle: simple sublimation. :)
thats turning of solid to gases state w/o intermediating a liquid state.
procedure:
Make a aqaurium type box made of glass with cover removable from top that too of glass place the tripod at its centre and next place crucible on the tripod and wiremesh on tripod
next put some boric acid in the crucible
and apply heat by lighting the candle
then close the glass cover from top and wait for the boric acid crystals to sublimate put the wet cloth on the top of the glass and the condensed boric acis appears like the artificial snowfall .
Well tha's what i did in 8th class . Got Second prize for it. hope that u too ...BEST OF LUCK>>>> :)

a true Kinetic Energy machine, its puzzeled philosophers and scientists for centuries and there is apparantly only one in the world that fits the requirements, its in an air sealed glass safe somewhere in europe and sitting on layers of heavy metals and cement to stabilise it, its hypnotic to watch this solid silver ball spinning around a miriad of coils and magnets, the idea is to create a constant kinetic energy with no human assistance.. interesting topic either way. good luck
