Firstly thanks to all that have answered me
I dont neglet my dog, and yes should of had her spladed a long time ago. she hasnt put on weight that I can tell. She has dug underneath the shed so we are get some spotlights to see if the pups are there. Yes I agree that dogs are neglected, and prehaps the people up the road shold of stopped there dog from roaming, which I have reported it to the pound! thanks

she may still be pregnant! she may also be having a false pregnancy but here are a few signs to look for.
1) Is she nesting? (moving her bedding around, looking for a "den," digging in the ground)
2) is she still eating? She will stop eating 8 to 12 hours before she has her pups.
3) is she showing signs of labor (whimpering, contracting/squeezing her belly)
If you see any of these sings pups will be here soon. Be prepared. Read up or search the web for things you will need to help her if she needs it AND also have the vets number near by so you can call if necessary(its a good idea to take her in so the vet can check her for potential problems. Then please have her spayed, Its doing both of you a favor.

Boxer/Ridgeback pups? I can't imagine a better combo.
False pregnancy is common.
BUT
9 weeks is about how long dogs are pregnant. If she seems to have gained weight in her tummy area, she's pregnant and probably gonna have the pups within 24-48 hours.
(milk production means puppies will be coming soon)
She would like a box with some shredded newspapers and old towels in a out of the way place.
Signs she's in labor. Straining muscles, panting, digging and crying. She may not show any of these things. Some dogs like to keep everything private. If you see these things, and no puppy appears, or if she suddenly stops, get to a vet, it's an emergency, a puppy could be stuck.
Please have her spayed as soon as the puppies are weaned. If you can't pay, call the SPCA and animal control. They have programs to help.
Good lUck

If her belly has not expanded at all, and it is soft and normal feeling, then it is a false pregnancy.
They can have their milk come in, but it will go away in about 2 weeks.
It wouldn't hurt to keep an eye on her throughout the week though. Sometimes they will mimic the behaviors, she may try to tear up bedding or furniture and carry around stuffed toys. Again, it will pass.
Get her spayed after this is done. You don't want a first litter at that age.

She may be having a false pregnancy, but she may be pregnant. If she is pregnant she should have the puppies in the next few days. But, my friend's dog always has a false pregnancy after she comes into heat, she will get milk and actually nest and then claim toys as her "puppies".

well that's about the right time for her to have had pups. normal dog gestation is around 63 days. please follow her and find out about the pups. they could be in trouble. if she's outdoors and has a place to hide them, you need to check everywhere. and as soon as you find out about the pups. call the vet and find out when to have your dog spayed. it's very irresponsible enough to not have her spayed but to not even notice she was pregnant and know where the pups are is beyond me. you knew she was in heat, but not pregnant, or where the pups could be?
and maybe their dog wouldn't roam so much if you spayed your dog? a male will roam especially if there is a female in heat. as long as you now know you should have had her spayed and will do so as soon as possible, that's about all we can ask.

If you love this dog please get it spayed. We have too many dogs in this world especially mutts that are euthanised do to lack of homes. It would be for her health and longevity.
