Deep breathing exercises and meditation.
Breath in until you feel a stretch. Hold for a bit and release. You can do that when you're driving. Do the breathing exercise and say or think a word or short phrase that has meaning to you like I'm/We're Fine. Any phrase or word that will relax or empower you. Repetition is important. This will help.
