The only one coming close is old why not. Exodus is not proven and research says it never happened at all. Jacobs well is very doubtfull. The census of Cyrenius happened but not at the time the bible claims. It was after the death of Herods family. The only thing the biblke writers managed to get right were the rulers names and the major Cities

Don even knew enough to put that it was most, not all of the cities. As much as I dislike Don he does have the best answer.

I could post many links but the two that are here should be enough that anybody interested can search for more from. Most of the times the bible mentions inhabited places it gets them wrong either in location or in period of being inhabited. Nazareth, where Jesus was supposed to be from was only a remote cemetary at the time he was supposed to live there. There are many other examples.

There was a guy once that was killed somehow reffered to as Jesus (some random roman scholar noted it hardly caring). Jesus was then, at some point, born (though the circumstances of that are quite a bit sketchy historically), a guy named paul wrote a bunch of letters, you can't dispute THAT, umm, there's a place we call Mount Sinai, and there was another man reffered to as "john the baptist" (actually has more outside sources than Jesus from what i remember).... That's about it as far as I can recall.

You could easily argue that evolution is merely a record of the extinction of species. Most scientists don't want to consider that. Rather than try to ask a question that doesn't really make a point, try studying and find the answers for yourself.

None of its true congradulations. And to the person that attacked evolution. Dont be so weak minded even if evolution were false which it is most likely not and can be proven by just examining modern day bacteria. And fossil records you idiot. But anyways even if it is false how does that make religion right. The bible is a book written and rewritten by thousands of people. It's like a fight happening in a school. And then written about sixty years later and is based on rumours. I dont think you would beleive any of what it would say. But somehow you beleive the bible is recorded history.

A lot of the geographical information is correct.

What about where Adam would surely die the day he ate from the tree of knowledge, then he lived to be over 900 years old?

mmmm, maybe that's not a good example????

There are many Roman and Greek Historians that have mentioned Jesus. Josephus, Pliny the Younger, Emperor Flavius's official historian mentions Christ and that he was Crucified by Pontius Pilot in his writings. Archeology has found the sites of most of the cities mentioned in the exodus including the city of Jericho. And that it's wall s did collapse. See University of Pennsylvania. Egyptian records speak of the Jewish slaves and of wars with Judea. Babylonian records, Persian records. I could go on for quite a while. Is there anything in particular you were looking for?

Do you really have enough room for me to post them all

the romans if nothing else where supurb record keepers. we do know that a census was taken at the time that christ was born, in fact it proves christ was actually born in late ocober early november. we also know that christ was crucifed, good old pilot and his scribes hooked us up there. we know that sodom and gamora existed. an they found those around 2000. we know the hebrews where enslaved in egypt for almost 400 years, that is docuented by several sources.

hold up...that is more than one....sorry.
