The rifle must be in a approved case for transport and the TSA must be notified of the cargo before you leave. Don't just show up at the airport with it. Call the airline for details and visit TSA online for more info.

you dont give a lot of info. where are you going to hunt. I live and hunt in south africa. africa consists of 54 different countries with different laws and regulations

You need alot of permits for the airlines and africa itself...that just don't let every armed american it to it country...so ask the people that are doing your hunt (thats what their paid for)

ya you can take it but it ant worth the trouble you would be far better off using the guids guns .
