You guys aren't that different. Muslims think that Muhammad went to heaven on a flying horse and Christians think Jesus is comming back on a flying horse.
What's amusing is that both of you think that the other's belief is insane.

What would it take for me to convince you that both beliefs are equally insane?

When will you both lay down your primitive bronze-aged world views and embrace reason?

Why do you follow dogmas that throughout history (and modern times) have impeded science, brought wars, senseless murders and misery to the lives of millions?

whynotaskdon strikes again.....Sorry Don, I was trying to make a funny. Please tell me how Jesus is going to come back. I defy you to explain it in a less absurd way than on a flying horse. Keep in mind don...you are stating that a DEAD MAN is going to come down through the atmosphere and blah, blah blah. PLLLLEAASSSE. That sounds more absurd than a flying horse.

It wasn't a "flying horse". It was a "boraq" (Arabic). It was described the way it was described at the time because Muhammad had never seen such a transport, and could never have imagined a non-living vehicle to have existed...

Even though Muhammad's (PBUH) ascension to the Heavens has been mentioned in the Qur'an, the method of transportation was not...which makes people like you doubt that it really took place...

Faith and hope are the last things you can take from human.

So whats wrong that people have faith and values?

It is better than to be just a piece of sh*t in the river swimming with the water current. Is it how life should be?

Yes, I agree that both of them have much in common but by insulting a large portion of the world you're not exactly going to spread that message or find people willing to listen.

We believe Jesus is God, they believe he was just a prophet. That is a huge difference. I believe without Jesus there would be no peace.

Personaly, I'd just appreciate if they agreed to disagree and stop draging the rest of the world into their mutual apocalypse/wet dream.

I have to agree with you on this & I think it's very well said. I think it can be helpful to have religions but it can also cause a lot of harm~
