She does it chronically and it really smells [like a rotting bloody corpse that has been sitting out for about 20 years] and its really loud [sounds like a 1000 kiloton hydrogen bomb]. There is a huge mushroom cloud that comes out to. I am not exaggerating. She says she loves it but i don't like it when she farts. I don't like it. I think it's too masculine to keep farting.

If she's young, then let it go but remind her that it's not proper.
If she's older, let her understand how disgusting it is, and that she will never get a man, even if it's not true.

This is a true fact: The average person farts 14 times a day. I didn't know that, but Oprah had a doctor on her show today and he said it was true. Also, women have move bends and curves in their intestinal tract so they have more of an opportunity for gas to build up. So I guess you should let her fart.

hey she's human too. and being human she has a digestive system. It's natural for people to pass gas several times a day. The odor is more prominent to the types of food she is being exposed to. Certain individuals may have a lactose intolerance that produce raunchy fumes for instance. but that doesn't excuse improper etiquette. and how is farting masculine?

Maybe you can just ask her not to do it in public, or go to the toilet if she feels a lot of gas coming out. Also, you might want to watch what she eats.

Everyone farts. There's no monopoly in terms of gender who gets to fart more... The idea of being sexist in terms of farting is just ridiculous. Your daughter might get a wrong idea about how the body works if you communicate somehow that farting is bad or abnormal.

There is a time and a place to fart.

Now as for the frequency and the stench, there might be an underlying medical problem, or the type of food she eats may give her gas, and she needs to deal with it.

Have her read this for a possible implication:

If it really smells abnormal, take her to the doctor and re-think what you're feeding her.

Ask her to go to the bathroom to fart.

Don't tell her to stop. It's not possible. Holding it in could damage her rectum or colon.

Everyone farts; it's neither masculine nor feminine.

It is natural, but she should be a bit more lady-like. Perhaps she could excuse herself from the room when she wants to let one loose. She should feel comfortable around you but if no one else is farting all over the place then she needs to stop pronto!!!
