My sister's name is Emilia but she's 70 now.
It was really popular in the past but new generations are not too using this name as much;however nobody can say if it becomes popular again in a short time since names fashion in italy is like the waves of the ocean (they come and then go away to come back again....)

My circle of friends in Italy number 20, 2 of them are named emilia

In all my life i knew just two Emilia and i am italian is a very old fashion name but nice
