I just asked five questions in a row, all the same except for one word:

Why did Jews do 9/11? >allowed to stay

Why did Christians do 9/11? >removed immediatly

Why did atheists do 9/11? >allowed to stay

Why did the ACLU do 9/11? >allowed to stay

Why did Christians do 9/11? >removed immediatly again

Can anyone explain this to me? Isn't this proof of pro-christian bias? Do you think it's because the Christians whine so much more than everyone else?

I'm Jewish/Christian and I wasn't aware of the fact that there was a pro-Christian bias. I was also unaware of the fact that I whine. Don't lump us all together.

And, your so called irrefutable proof is bull.

My bet is that there are three things that create this impression, but that it may be the results of simple statistics rather than bias.
Consider that;
1. What gets removed is only the stuff that gets reported.
2. There are a majority of Christians in the English speaking population base of Yahoo - they form more than 1/3 of the world's population.
3. Many Christian groups are pro-censorship - so they are not going to have a problem reporting things that most of us would keep quiet about because we value freedom of speech more than they do.

Therefore it seems much more likely the majority of those -willing- to report or censor remarks are more likely to be Christians - and this result gives the impression that Yahoo is catering to them when in fact they are simply the most active, vocal and numerous of the special interest groups...

In my opinion there is a risk if one doesn't use quantitative analysis objectively - that your own conclusions can be skewed.
I'm not saying you are wrong, just that there are other possible (even probable) explanations.

For the record I am not a Christian, I just know that the kind of bias you are accusing the Yahoo Answers crew of having would require too much effort to maintain in terms of "policing" - and it isn't really necessary anyway if they work it the way I described.

The other night I posted a request for people to not pray for my broher and the question was removed. Yet I see all kinds of questions on here where people ask others to pray for them or their loved ones.

I had the same thing happen to me over a legitimate question. I thought it was odd, but... well, I'm kind of used to Christians getting favored treatment. It doesn't make me mad anymore, just a tiny bit sad.
