I already know, but I oftentimes act as i f i did not know and allow the person to share there info as if it's my first time hearing it. Is this wise or should i do like most people and let the person know I already knew that? I don't have a need to all ways share everything I know. Is this weird?

Give who ever a few minutes in the spot light. I do it all the time. A really good friend of mine has a memory problem but is very smart. She will tell me the same thing countless times about something we're talking about. I've heard it a hundred times but it helps her self esteem to say it. As long as it's not hurting them, what's the harm in hearing something a few times over again?
