Not really. Your best bet (although it might not be the tastiest), is to have a bagel made with whole grains like wheat flour. Also, the ones topped with nuts and seeds will add protein and healthy fat. When it comes to toppings, avoid the cream cheese and butter. Reach for healthy toppings like fatfree cottage cheese or sugar free fruit spreads.
I know these ideas probably don't sound very appetizing (my fave bagel is Noah's garlic bagel with a ton of cream cheese - yum!)

Carbohydrates. The various forms break down to glucose which supplies the body with energy. And yes they are good, especially with cream cheese.

it depends on the kind of bagel, like other people stated above.
the only other thing i know is that they are low in saturated fat. it all depends on what you put on top!
