Hi Johnathan...in all honesty, this sounds serious enough which would merit a visit to the vet rather to be medically treated. It may be ear mites or something more serious. Rather than trust the advice of strangers which could cause more harm than help it would be best to only entrust a licenced veterinarian.

Sounds like bloated ticks to me. Look carefully and see if there are legs underneath. If so, take some mineral oil and apply to where the tick is attached and when the tick pulls it's head out, pull it off with tweezers or a tissue. Then put some alcohol on the area. When I was younger my mom would burn the tick to make sure they were dead but I have learned just to flush them is fine.

PS to prevent any more ask your vet for the tick preventative that is an oill that you put on the back of your cat's neck.

Are you kidding? THEY'RE TICKS! You better grab some tweezers and yank them b*tches out before they kill him. They're resposible for lyme disease. They suck blood. You DEFINATELY need to get him some frontline (Petsmart, Pet Supermarket, The vet's office, online). Check his entire body for ticks. Besides the frontline, you can buy bombs for the house that will kill off all the living ticks you have indoors (Pet store, Walmrt). But he probably got them from outdoors. Also, be careful because people can get them too and they aren't fun. But take those off of him A.S.A.P. They never come off easily with the tweezers so it's gonna take awhile. Ticks also release from the skin if you light a match or lighter near them; then you can grab em. Make sure you kill the ticks (smudge em, squish em, etc.).

don't listen to some of the stupid people that post answers on this site. DO NOT try DIY surgery! See a doc and only take his advice!
