Here is a picture of my gown

http://www.davidsbridal.com/bridal_gowns_detail.jsp?stid=2300&prodgroup=10

I have three veils... One is a cathedral length, one is finger tip length, and the third is the over the face blusher to be pulled back after my father has given me away. I also have a tiara. I'm finding it hard to find styles that incorporate a veil... I have really long, thick light brown hair. I really want to wear my hair at least partially down.. Any suggestions? Pictures would be a HUGE huge help. Huge. (Btw, I'm about 5'1, size 8 dress, oval face--that might be things you need to know... I dunno). Thanks for all your help!

If you put ur hair up, you can look taller and more elegant, but if you really want to leave it down, it can give you a softer look if its a day wedding
It also depends what kinda of tiara you have - is it a headband? Here is a style with a cathedral length veil, with an updo

I would suggest having your hair curled and pulling the top part up and back into a loose mass of curls, leave the rest down with some curls framing your face. You can place the tiara in front and attach the veil either over or under the pinned up curls. Be sure to try out the style with your veil and tiara before the wedding. If you're having it done professionally, take pictures.

Check out Elizabeth Taylors hairdos in the movie Cleopatra. There are some really beautiful dos in that movie. Also, and I am not kidding here, get a copy of Valley of The Dolls. It is a 60s movie but there are some truly amazing and glamorous dos that I am SURE you will find really inspiring and helpful. Congratulations! It sounds like its going to be great.

I artwork in a bridal salon, and we get asked this question alot with the aid of our brides. there's no authentic thank you to positioned on your hair on your wedding ceremony day. the form would desire to be desperate with the aid of how formal your wedding ceremony is, this type of your gown and this type of your headpiece and veil. the main suitable undertaking to do is to call your hairdresser, and e book an ordeal--ask them to grant you a stable 3-4 hours right here, on account which you and your hairstylist will in actuality play alongside with your hair. Take alongside a digicam, so which you will take snapshots of each form, and take alongside your headpiece and veil (if achieveable) so the stylist can artwork with what you would be utilising on your wedding ceremony day. you elect your form to proceed to be "you," yet nevertheless be certain on your wedding ceremony day. stable success!
