Aww, don't cry! I know how it is when there is a feature you don't like about yourself. But don't panic.
Next time you wash your hair, use a specialty shampoo and conditioner for hair straightening. Herbal Essence has a new line of hair care just for that.
While it's wet, put in a light gel and brush it through. Then blow dry your hair. Don't flip your head over or anything, just blow it straight down. Then use a high heated ceramic straightening iron.
Once you're finished, spray hairspray on a brush and brush it through all of your hair.
I hope that helps! Good luck!

Crew Pomade. ($14 - $16) This little container will last you over a month at least, if not more, and pays for itself.
I have found that any kinds of olive oil, baby oil, or any low-end products will leave behind grease, (no matter what the package says) which you don't want, plus it won't give you hold.
Crew Pomade will give you shine and hold that is flexible and natural, superior control, not stiff like hair gel or hairspray. It works. You can apply it to towel-dried hair, rub it in your palms, start from the top of your head and work your way down. Use a little at first, then more as needed.
A tip: When you wash your hair in the shower, rub a small amount of soap in your palms, and massage the soap in your scalp with your fingertips. This is done for two reasons.
1. You get the blood flowing in your scalp which stimulates hair growth.
2. By using less soap and just the fingertips, you reduce frizz after you get out of the shower. If you mash your hair around with your palms, you will end up damaged, frizzy hair.
When you rinse, thy to gently run your fingers through your hair, and again, not disturb the hair also to reduce frizz. And get all the soap out, rise well.
I find blowdrying hair to be damaging to hair, especially, thicker, puffy, drier hair. Best to let hair dry naturally.
I have unruly and wavy Mediterranean hair myself, and let me tell you, I went through a lot of grief, but I found something that works. It just takes a little time and effort.
Best of luck.

eastern straightening, and getting it thinned are the two good thoughts for you. in case you desire a restoration at present, you in addition to could could desire to speculate (and that i say make investments reason they are no longer inexpensive) in a ceramic flat iron. a good high quality one. then you particularly could desire to get a smoothing cream, garnier smoothing milk works ok. So initially blow dry your hair with a great paddle brush. (merely be useful you have washed and rinsed your hair ok, and used a good conditioner, yet rinsing properly is significant). After it rather is dry, positioned the smoothing milk in, then pin 0.5 of your hair up and start up flat ironing your hair in small sections, as quickly as the backside is complete, take down the best in small sections and flat iron those. it rather is going to take time, yet once you dont use too plenty product you are able to wait to replaced into your hair a pair days. the main ingredient is that it will take time to do your hair, I even have comparable hair and that i'm no longer able to get waiting in 5 minutes, it rather is merely something I manage, yet my hair seems gentle, outstanding and at once, and that's what i want!

You may just have the wrong haircut. Go to a good stylist and ask them to take some volume out of your hair and then straighten it. If that doesn't do enough try the John Frieda line of anti-frizz products. Good Luck!

WELL I HAVE THE SAME HAIR AS YOU. WHEN YOU FLAT IRON IT, ITS STILL PUFFY. WHY, I THINK ITS BECAUSE MY HAIR IS SO THICK. AND WHEN I WASH IT, IT DRAWS UP INTO A LIL AFRO, BUT ITS PAST SHOULDER LENGTH. I ALSO GET FRUSTRATED WHEN I CANT HANDLE ALL THE THICKNESS. PEOPLE SAY GET A PERM, BUT I DONT AGREE WITH THAT. ITS ALSO VER FRIZZY AND WAVY, I WANT IT TO SLICK BACK LIKE OTHER PEOPLE. THEY USE GEL, BUT I DONT KNOW WHICH ONE TO USE BECAUSE MOST GELS MAKE YOUR HAIR DRY AND COME OUT. I THINK WE SHOULD FIND A GOOD FLAT IRON. PEOPLE SAY THE LITTLE SKINNY ONES WORK GOOD BUT IVE NEVER TRIED IT. QUAN

My daughter had has really curly puffy hair and hated hates it!
A phillipino lady we know suggested she use baby oil in it. As leave in, and she uses a straightening iron. Magic beautifull long straight hair!!!!!! It does give a wet look, experiment with how much you use. Also her hair has grown so very much in 6months

Next time you shower, instead of conditioner, use honey. It REALLY works. Also, have you tried Mane & Tail? It was originally for horses, and then people liked it a lot. I know Wal Mart has it.
If all else fails, just like yourself the way you are. I am sure everyone else likes the way you look.
