Surgical sexing is rarely done any more with the advent of DNA testing. The best company to have it tested by is Avian Biotech in FL. They have a website and you either pluck a few fresh chest feathers or get a drop of blood on a card and send it to them. They charge between $19.50 and $24.50 to do this and you get a certificate of your birds sex. They are a great company. There are a lot of scams out there. Stay with a proven science and company.

On another note, please do some studying about lorikeets diets and make sure you feed it properly. They should not be on a seed diet.
