I think we should make a go-cart out of curly wurlies and wagon wheels and drive down to Downing St to petition the prime minister about the down sizeing of our chocolate treats. Who's with me?

I have often wondered this. Another thing which I have considered is, maybe they appear shorter, or smaller because we have grown up and got bigger. Some one else mentioned the wagon wheels being alot smaller; but is it purely because we had little hands when we were kids, therefore, they now appear smaller. Its a shame we have no measurements to go by. Just a thought lol!

Definitely! The Curly Wirlie situation is a matter for deep concern to every Human Being on the Planet.
Even more so than Global Warming and the continual destruction of the Rain Forests.
WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO ABOUT IT YAHOOERS?

Yes definitely, but here's a tip - if you put them in the fridge for a couple of hours first they take all day to eat, so you can convince yourself they're bigger than they are!

They are not only shorter, but also softer. It used to take a damned good chew to eat one. Now they are short, soft, floppy and unsatisfying.... hmmmm.... reminds me of something else that ages badly......
