There are a few cases where a real sex act took place where maybe it wasn't necessary. One recent notorious case was Vincent Gallo's The Brown Bunny. He insisted that it was necessary that a real ******** take place during one scene that he was starring in. There are also rumors that on the set of the movie Don't Look Back, made I think in the 70s, actors Donald Sutherland and Julie Christie finished their "sex" scene, but continued to make out together for something like half an hour after the cameras had stopped rolling.

They are actors! It is there job to act, they are on tv telling about how hard it is to act out a sex scene. Some of the actresses and actors are married in real life and I am sure there spouses wouldn't like that to much. I do believe porn is a different story, although some of that even is questionable!

Only in the world of porno. In the regular legit film world, no, not on camera anyway. That's why they're actors. They can truly make it look real, but they have enough opportunity to connect off-camera. I'm sure many actors have to do scenes with people they actually can't stand, but still have to make it appear they are in love or into the person that in reality is not at all appealing to them. And yes, I'm sure many of them do feel attraction for one another, hence, the many marriages in Hollywood that only last for 3 days or less! Those porno stars, I sure pity them in this world of AIDS and all those other diseases you can get! They must be dying to do pornography, no pun intended, but it's a big risk and a real possibility. Yuck!

I think actors do it for real pretty often. I've seen some sex scenes (not in porno) that would be pretty hard to fake.

Nope. Kind of hard to even get in the mood when you have two or three cameras and their operators watching and then there's the director yelling "Cut" after every shot and telling you to "move that hand a little lower and I want you to nibble a little more to the left so we can see her face."
Porn stars do sex on camera. The rest of them just try really hard not to crack up laughing or throw things at the director.

The only time I heard a rumor about something like that is between Michael Douglas and Sharon Stone in basic instinct.

no. that's just good photography. If u watch close, even sometimes when kissing is involved, u only see the back of their heads. and even if they are really kissing, they're acting. but i don't think they really do, its just very good photography. makes it look real. It's just like when u see an actor get hit by a car, ior get shot, or stabbed,looks real, but its not. just good filming.

No...you do realize that many of these actors are married? And besides that, then the movies wouldn't be shown in theaters as they would be considered pornography.
