Why are we blamed for forgetting things when we have tried our best to remember?

It is no good assuming that people have not tried to remember because you cannot prove that, and everyone has a right to fair trail and so we have to prove it.

Have you ever had your teacher moan because you forgot to get your PE kit?
You tried to remember, but saying this to the teacher just doesn't cut it.

Tell me how a teacher can be right dispite this? and why.

This is something that I have been trying to figure out for ages. I really need an honest answer. Is it because they want to take out thier frustration on the kids or something else?

I would like a very indepth and conscise or scientific answer.

how they handle it is one thing. if they get overly upset, there's no reason to treat the kids that way. however, regardless of excuses and certainly something as lame as 'i forgot' is not an excuse. They have to reinforce in you to do what you're supposed to do. If forgeting is your mistake then that is the problem that must be corrected. Although few teachers will search for the cause and work with your particular problem unless it is chronic.

You are not going to like this answer, but here goes...

You are being trained to do the most important thing in your life---to be an adult! Your parents (and teachers), in the short eighteen years that they have you at home (or school), must teach you right from wrong, 1+1, moral values, and all of the responsibilities that it takes to make it in this world. Let me pose a question to you. If you were working on the N.A.S.A. shuttle project, and your boss told you to be sure to tighten down all of the bolts on an exterior access panel and you remembered to put the panel on but FORGOT to tighten the bolts, do you think that would be considered an "honest mistake" or a felony?

Yes, that may seem like an extreme example, but how about changing a flat tire and "FORGETTING" to tighten all of the lug nuts? Your tire may fall off and you or someone else could die!!

You need to be taught that responsibility is everything in life. Your teacher for instance probably feels that you should write down the things you are suposed to remember, or that you should have automatically thought not to come to p.e. without your p.e. kit!!

The bottom line is that parents and teachers are here to teach you responsibility. If you can't remember to make your bed, it is probably because you weren't responsible enough to get up and do it right away. You put it off and because of that, you forgot. This brings me to another point and another question for you...

WHY DO YOU HAVE TO TELL KIDS TO DO "CHORES" OR MAKE THEIR OWN BEDS?? Can't they do anything without being constantly told and told again??

You're looking for a deep, scientific answer, but all I can tell you is that teachers are dealing with LOTS of kids on a daily basis and sometimes they get impatient when one of them forgets something that the teacher thinks is so basic it should be easy to remember. Teachers themselves FORGET what it's like to be a kid. You're blamed for forgetting by someone who has forgotten...quite an irony ;-)

Well you have to learn to remember. If you have to write things down then do it. If you have to bring something to school, you need to have like a memo pad and write it down. You have to take responsibility for your actions and not get offended when something is said to you. You need to learn now to be responsible. Because if you don't this could cause you to get fired from jobs, etc.

Perhaps they are simply frustrated about the situation and you happen to hear the expression of frustration because you're there.
