I've asked this question earlier this morning but I wanted to do a second time around to get more feedback. There is a girl I've been liking for 6 months. I finally confessed to her two months ago (before Thanksgiving) that I like her and she told me that friendship is as far as she'll go with me. I told her that I respected that. Now, for the first time in 6 months, she likes to touch my arm when she talks to me. Could this be a sign that she is starting to like me or am I just doing wishful thinking? And when she touches my arm she looks at my eyes. What is your take on it? Thanks for responding in advance.

hang out in person with her sometime and watch. other than that, I've noticed that if there's ever a hunch that a girl likes you, she does. subconsciously or not, humans are great at picking up body language signals.

She may have changed her mind about you or something, but I doubt it. It's definitely worth a try though. Ask her out on a date and see what happens. She might not like that if she doesn't like you, but you won't be losing much if you aren't getting anywhere with her anyway. If she likes you enough, she's going to help you do things right to get along with her well. If she doesn't, you're going to be confused all the time and wondering what's going through her mind, if you have a chance, etc. So ask her out on a date, and don't expect too much. And if she turns you down this time, forget her. Good luck!

It depends on how and when she touches your arm. If that is all that is happening, I really think she does not like you anymore now then before Thanksgiving, but I could be wrong. Try touching her arm, is she doesn't stop you, that is a good sign.

She still doesnt like you. But she knows you do, and she enjoys that. So she touches your arm, to make you think that maybe she is more interested, when she really isnt, but doesnt want you to stop liking her.
I wouldnt read into it. You want her to like you? Start acting like you dont like her anymore, that you are interested in someone else. For some reason, this works. Its a game, and some people are So against that, but it worth a try right?
