Would you date a guy that has a gut?? If he were charming and funny and good looking, And can a "big" guy be goodlooking or does his largeness make him ugly?

My husband has a little gut. It really doesn't matter. Being big does not make a guy ugly. My best friend is kind of big and he is the sweetest guy in the world. And he's good-looking too. Girls who do care about that are not worth your time.

Oh of course i would date a guy that has a gut! There is nothing wrong with having a gut! Looks isn't all that matters! For me if you have a good personality I would definetly hook up!! I've seen some really hot guys that have a little chub! Don't worry man there is nothing wrong with it! Don't stress!

Well, it depends how big the gut was. I'm a marathon runner and do triathlons, I'm quite physically active and I take care of my body. I don't expect the men I meet to go out and knock off 15 miles with me, but they should at least care about their appearance. Many guts are not attractive. Some men carry it better than others.
I'm not trying to be judgmental, but we all have preferences. I'm a brunette, and some men probably wouldn't date me because I'm not blond. I'm not going to date an obese man - it works the same way.
Not to go off-topic, but if you have weight issues yourself, you might want to consider shedding some pounds for your health. It's now accepted medical wisdom that a large gut, or large waist size in men, over 35 inches, leads to all kinds of problems like heart disease and strokes. So whittling your midsection isn't a bad idea.
Garin is a nice name. I've never heard of it, it's unusual.

Yea lots of girls do. Just like some guys like curvy girls, some girls don't mind guts, and don't care at all if he has a great personality.

If a girl really likes you, she won't mind a gut. In my opinion it's better than being too skinny and looking like a stick.

ABSOLUTELY!!!... I love big guys... guys with a gut. Pay attention... I didn't say FAT guys...Don't be a slob.... but Big men need love too...and they are a great heat supplement in the winter...lol

You do have to be attracted to the guy, but looks is not everything i dated a heavier set guy and that was because he treated me right so it doesnt matter depends on the girl.....
