My cat growls when he is eating food that is good to him and will hiss at the other cat if he trys to interupt him. Is this normal, or is my cat just enjoying his food..lol.

Normal. It's instinctive for them to protect their food.

He is telling everyone to stay away from his food. This can get worse. You need to do some training. As your cat is eating you need to distract it and do things to let it know that if you want to take the food you can. You do not want a cat fight later on. One of my cats did this and so did my oldest dog. Now they will calmly eat together.

It's perfectly normal! He's warning the other cat that he won't give up his food without a fight - regardless of whether the other cat is even interested in his food or not. He'll probably outgrow it, so make a video to laugh over later...

Is she is friendly otherwise in simple terms do not attempt touching her while she eats . Cats and dogs too sense very susceptible while they are eating. Ive had pets that's try this and that i've got had ones that would not care much less. Threes relatively no reason to therapy her of that in simple terms bypass away her on my own or in case you elect take a seat quietly with the aid of her while she eats. And stable for you, your clever sufficient to appreciate to under no circumstances ever beat an animal all that does is cause them to fearful of you.

He's warning others away from his food. What makes this really funny is when they do it when there's no one else around. Usually kittens only do this; they tend to grow out of it. I love it, too, when they place their paws firmly down on the floor to "protect" their space by the food.

I have seen this and it seems to be that the cat is loving his food and wants to be sure everyone around him know's it is ONLY for him. Stand back, baby. ; )

he is afraid the other kitty will steal his food--he is warning the other kitty to stay away--this is his food.
keep the 2 kitties separate at feeding time so there is not the unnecessary competition between them for food--that leads to insecurity and other problems.
