Of course it does. Truth can't contradict truth. If I believe "it is" and someone else believes "it isn't", then one of has to be wrong.

It's not religion you need to believe in, it is God. Religion won't get you into Heaven. There is one Church and that is God's church. All TRUE followers are part of this church no matter what denomination is on the sign out front. True followers believe that Christ was born, died, rose from the dead, and is coming back. That He forgives sin, but expects you to live for Him and not just do the same old things. I suppose a false religion would be the worship of idols or other gods because there is only one God.

First off, a religion is where man is struggling to reach God. Christianity is God reaching down to man. If you just want to have a religion for the sake of having one go ahead but they will not offer you what the Christian faith offers. There can only be one faith which is the right one, there is only one God, Yaweh who created heaven and earth. The words of the Bible say "neither is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men whereby you must be saved, ONLY through Jesus Christ. The words of Jesus were " I am the way the truth and the life, no man comes to the father except by me". No if you don't choose to accept this thinking it is too exclusive or you can't accept the fact that the Bible is the Word of God then that is your choice. God presents the facts and He desires you to come to Him, that is why He sent His Son to die for you that you might go to heaven. He says He is wiling that none should perish but He leaves the choice up to us. To reject is to spend your eternity in hell , to accept your soul spends eternity in heaven, your call. ( Read the book of John then decide).

With Christianity we have to come to accept absolute truths (according to that particular religion), like when the Bible says Jesus is the only way to God. Most people don't like that but if that is what the Bible says, and if I am a Christian I have to believe it.
And it is no different from Mormons who believe that they can become gods after they die, or JW who think that Jesus is Michael the archangel.
They are different beliefs that people have the right to believe in if they want.

There are no 'false' religions, just as there are no 'correct' religions. It is all based on perspective and whatever helps the individual come at peace with themselves. Anyone who claims there religion as right is showing extreme ignorance mixed with a healthy dose of arrogance.

The Catholic view is, and I am Catholic, is that as far as other Christian denominations we believe in 80% the same things. It's the 20 percent that they reject that we differ such as Mary, Salvation, praying to the Saints and some different interpretation of Bible passages etc. As Catholics we believe that we have 100% fullness of the truth revealed to us by Jesus Christ 2000 years ago. I invite to investigate the Church and may God bless you!

~~You know, I learned a long time ago that veryone has a right
to believe how they want~~If they are dead set against any other religious ideas~~What difference does it make anyhow? ~~
~~In addition, I respect other people and the way they worship~~as long as it is sincere~~i CAN'T THINK OF THE EXACT BIBLE VERSE~~But Jesus said~~(paraphrased)
~~Whosoever is not against us, is for us~~
Like Religion~phooey ~~ It's about the heart~~
And , What I think He meant~~was how strong the belief is~
~~I see that all the time with people from other religions~~
~~ I feel their worship with them~~

Except for one, which I will not name, no. I don't have problems with most of the other religions. Just one. A violent one.

Depends on the religion first--there are some where the possibility that all religions are correct is doctrine--and the individual second.
