You're just smarter than most men. I agree with you. And MANY men agree with you. Go to www.blowmeuptom.com and choose to "Listen Live" anytime between 3pm-7pm M-F. You may have to listen several times to get a good appreciation of your thoughts and the significance of what it means. You are saving yourself a lot of grief in believing what you believe.

Good for you. I also never want to get married, or have kids. You can save the money that you would have spent on a silly wedding. And it's a good thing not to have children. The world is overpopulated enough - especially in rich countries, where I presume you come from.
BTW, it's not called childless, it's called child-free!! I think I am actually being selfless in choosing not to have kids, because I do help out other kids, and I spend time doing constructive things, such as helping out with organisations.
Anyway, who chooses to be born?? Better to adopt if you decide you want a child later on.

And if anyone tells you you are selfish, punch them in the nose.

I say abide your time, when you are ready you will do it.I my self I'm 34 and was pressured to get married @20 now I am not saying i regret it .I have 2 beautiful girls ,but Igot divorced when iwas 22 and never remarried. I don"t think of you as a player your just putting feelers out there. But the down side of that is when you get into a relationship a long one you might find it will end because of the whole marrige thing it has happened to me twice . Now I'm with someone for 2 yrs now and it seems to be going fine without the paper.Good luck

Some people just don't have the desire to be in a commited relationship on paper. Some people like their freedom and see other couples not working out, see children being raised by single people and not doing a good job of it a lot of the time (not always the case though) and some people just don't care to have children. It's just the way some are....

Absolutely nothing wrong with being single.
Where is it written that everyone must be married ?
My husband of 3 years was a bachelor /never married at the ripe old age of 56. He loved being single until the right woman came along!

You ARE being honest with yourself & no it's not weird or selfish. Not everyone is cut out for that sort of thing. At least you ARE honest & don't get yourself into a relationship where it's a fake one 'cause she thinks it's going somewhere that it's not. You still have lotsa lotsa time to change your mind about it if you decide to~

Don't you know? It's not how others feel about it, it's how you feel about it. Your parents must be nagging you to get married and stuff. Been there done that.
Having said the above, I'm a 51 year old man and would LOVE to get married again. So any nice ladies out there, here I am.

yeah dude - it's completely normal - times are changing and the reality is that people are getting married later - people finish college later, move out of their parents' house later giving adults their longed and needed independence in their mid-late 20's. If you feel like you're being honest with yourself, then i salute you - it takes alot of b**s to admit it and it's fine if you don't wanna settle down.

No, I am single and have never been married, but it's because I never found the person I wanted to marry yet. Just be you and don't worry.
