Everything you think can happen.......does! Never return food! Didn't you ever see that movie "Waiting". If the item wasn't right just ask them to either deduct it from your bill or never return to eat at that same fast food joint. When I worked at Jerry's Sub and Pizza the cook told me that he never washed his hands after using the restroom. And he was the one making the pizza crusts!!! Yuck. Another reason to never eat out. Don't be impatient just go home and cook your own food.

It would depend on the restaurant. I know of at least one that did NOT at least during one shift a day. Now that the crew has changed, who knows? But it takes time to spit in the food, and they don't have a lot of time.

I worked at McDonald's for 2 years in high school and we never did. And most people ask for no mayo or extra pickle or no mustard or whatever. That's normal and wouldn't be annoying, unless you curse or yell or something.

You can always just look. You'd be able to see it.

Well that would be down right rude...they might get tempted to do so if the person asking was obnoxious but mostly they likely can't be bothered. I mean after all how much resentment can you vent in one day....day after day.

Ewww....no, but if they're busy, you're in the drive thru, and they don't have your special burger ready, you're getting a regular one buddy! And you know it!
