right click on your task bar and select PROPERTIES... there you will be able to check the SHOW QUICK LAUNCH box

Right click on the task bar and click the taskbars. Then just put a check next to quick launch bar.

All you have to do is right click on your task bar and select properties. From there, you can add it back
