when i get very little sleep i tend to have pain in the entire left side of my body. it starts in my neck, it gets all stiff behind mye ar, then it gives me a headache on that same side. then my chest starts to hurt and breathing gets tight, then it goes into my shoulder pretty bad, then into my arm. then my side down to my waist is throbbing. this happens when i get very little sleep and have to do many strenuous things. last night my baby was up through the entire night cutting teeth. then today i had to shovel snow....and take care of the kids due to a snowday. so now the whole left side of my body hurts. i know it's because i need to sleep. does this sound normal to you?

jess lack of sleep can bring out a lot of muskuloskeletal aches and pains. localising to one side of the body is unusual, but tension headaches sounds fairly typical in your case too. I can suggest something that I saw my wife being told and doing. Your child sleeps and you can too, do it, because you have to be up when they are. Secondly snow blowers are not affordable for eveyone but if you can get one, it will help you a lot. Thirdly use a little bit of caffeine and or tylenol once in a while. Excedrin migraine has tylenol, ceffeine and aspirin in it. if symptoms persist or worsen, do see a doctor, good luck
