Hmmm in most of the cases what you told is right. But people do some charity auctions and concerts for raising money for the underprivileged, in this case what people do for getting money is not evil right. Please correct me if I am mistaken with your question.
Warm Regards!!! Keep asking and getting asked!!! C U in another question!!!

Money is a necessary evil. Its the barter of commerce. The person with the most money can buy the most things or has the capablility of doing so if they wish. The rich do have a better life than the poor and anyone who denies that is lying or delusional. The pursuit of money is like any other obsession. If its the focal point of your life you will do anything for it. We all want to be number one at something and being rich is something anyone can do if they want , unlike something that takes time and talent and luck. Some people want it so badly they hurt others to get it.

Today, I feel as if money is the highest power in our world. Someone will do anything for it. It is so hard to believe that money controls the world. Money makes people go insane. Some people become someone with anxiety because they feel that they don't have enough. You may be able to call it mental in a sense. Its like you barely realize how much money has an affect on you. To do anything you need money. Kids have learned that money can buy them the new gaddets (cell phones, ipods, mp3 players, etc.) which their friend has gotten. Then it ends up to the point well my phone cost this much and then for a child to upgrade money. Money, Its the world...

In this world we get what we want
through our own efforts
through the generosity or the help of others
by power - theft, intimidation
and money is a form of power. If we are willing to work, then money becomes the result of our work, and we use it as a tool.
If we have friends who help us, and whom we help, then we are working with and for each other, and money becomes a tool and a product.
But when money is seen as a source of power - then power becomes an "acceptable" way to get it, and so stealing, bribery, embezzlement and the like become common. Lying - sexual seduction - the list grows faster than laws can be passed to try and control them.
We are lazy, and money promises a short cut.
We are insecure, and money promises us security - not just financial, but today we can buy fame. We can buy friends. We can buy almost anything, if we have enough money. Look at Paris Hilton - no talent, but lots of money.

Money makes us feel like we can have anything in the world, so many people go to great lengths to get money. One might steal someone elses hard earned money. Someone might kill a person that they know or don't know, just to make themselves a little bit richer, because with wealth, we can make ourselves happy. Even if its only for a short while, then we just go back and repeat the process, trying to endulge our lust for money.

Money can cause GREED, and that is a sin. Money can take you places that you wouldn't be able to go. What you do with money is choices, and hopefully you make the best choice.

That is very true.
As for your question - It makes us evil because money is everything: clothes, food, nice cars, etc. We will do anything for money, because it is everything.
