Did you recently break up with someone? Cause this is the best revenge...STEAL THEIR REMOTE!!! Did he/she steal your remote?
Otherwise it's in your bedroom, cause you were watching TV and had it in your hand when you answered the phone so you turned off the TV and went into your bedroom and set it down on the night stand while talking on the phone about [insert interesting topic here].
Now, if you were really tired you threw it away in the trash along with your empty Taco Bell bag and empty large diet Pepsi and went to sleep without thinking about it.
