okay, i am majoring in theater and have to decide whether i work and make money to pay my rent, or work at a theater that i just get hired to work there from now to sometime in march.
the thing is that i really want to be part of the theater work to have the experience, which will help me get jobs in theater in the future.
i told my mom that i want her to co. sign a loan so, i can finish school at the right time in 2008 which i can if i stop working so much for now and focus in my last few semester by making my grade better b/c i am not really doing good.

what u think?

I think you should do what's better for you in the long run. If the theater will provide you with the experience you need, fantastic, but be sure you can pay for everything you need to even have a future afterward.

First I think you need to concentrate on your schooling especially your grammar and maybe diction as well.

Many people who acheive their goals in life do not have an easy road. If mom is willing to co-sign for you it would make your decision easier but if not then you will have to go to plan B.
I would take the job at the theater --it's only until March and I assume they are going to pay you( you stated it was a job). If it's not enough to live on then frankly you will have to get another part time job to cover the remaining expenses. People do it all the time..
I myself went to college - nursing school, worked full time at night and raised 2 kids all this as a single mom !
Moral of the story -- If you want it bad enough , you will sacrifice and you will acheive

if you want to get a job in theatre then you need an education and experience. they will always hire someone with more experience and education over someone without, and like my prof once said, " going into dep for an education is the smartest thing you can do"

the sooner you finish school the sooner you can get a great paying job and the career you want.

If your mom is willing to help support you I think it's a no brainer to take the job with the theatre you like. It is great experience and sounds like a sure thing. Pretty soon you will be making money from them and you can start supporting yourself again.

if you're not doing good in school, you should defitely quit the job. in the long run, if you graduate out of school on time, you'll make more money.
you have your whole life ahead to work.

stop school, get a job and earn the money and pay everything for yourself. then when you go back to school, you'll work harder because you did it yourself. otherwise, you are not taking school seriously enough and wasting money.
