I bought some organic creamy peanut butter from Costco the other day. It is prestirred I believe, with no oil sitting on the top. There is no label that says the peanut butter must be refrigerated. Do I refrigerate it?

No, refrigeration is not necessary. However, all nuts contain oils that can spoil. To increase the life of your nuts and nut products, refrigerate them.

Of course you should refrigerate i, any food with oil in it will go rancid if it is not. The peanut butter will last longer and taste fresher if you keep it in the fridge.

Refrigerate it just to be on the safe side.
