I'm not really certain, but seeing that it's dated 1950, I would take it to the local art museum first and see if they know...or even to the college and let one or two of the art instructors from their arts department look at it.

Japanese-French painter and printmaker, regarded as one of the leading figures in the introduction European influence in Japanese art.

That would explain the added part of "Paris", as well as the date of 1950.

It looks like "Foujitras" though I have never heard of any artist by that name. Sorry, best I can do!

its tough..you have a better shot then i do..i would take it to a art museum and see if they could tell you..
