I really want to help, not only in my community but in poor countries and towns. I don't want to just send a check, I want to actually do something like care packages or something. Does anyone have any sites of orphanages ore something?????

I think this is a great idea and you are on the right track honey. With all the celebrities focusing on the third world countries, I would set your sites on your own backyard. So get together with some friends, pass out flyers, talk to you local stores for donations and put together little care packages. (Just think of what you would need if you were to go camping for a weekend...easy point of reference) Then contact your local social services and they will tell you exactly where to distribute them.
