If you want the cat, and are allowed by Landlord to have one, take responsibility for it, feed it, take it for regular shots to the vet, get it a collar with your name and number, pay someone to feed it while you are on vacation.
If not, quit feeding it so it's home is at the neighbors, or take it to the local animal shelter

Call your local SPCA. The previous owner of the cat can be charged with neglect for abandoning the feline. Your landlord said to stop feeding it? That's kind of messed up...I'd feed it anyway.
But definitly contact the local SPCA, they'll take the animal down to the shelter, give it adequate healthcare, nutrition and hopefully be able to adopt it out to the public (maybe you can adopt it!)

hay it look's like you got a cat in your neighborhood have you and your neighbor's gave it a name yet all neighborhood watch cat's need a good name or they turn into ally cat's and sing on the fence and have wild cat party's with dog's in your house when your gone and run up the phone bill calling other stray's then your credit card's come up missing and their out buying caviar and that's just the start first its catnip then they move onto even harder thing's like mint plants and ball's of string next thing you know their gonna want their own cat box with the best litter you can buy and then their's the gang thing cat gang's are very dangerous with their catnip dealing cat fight's and all the other cat thing's very bad I would move out of the neighborhood as fast as possible before you get cat scratch fever

He cannot tell you that you can't have an outside cat. As long as you don't bring the cat in the house it is none of his business. Feed the kitty, it needs a home....good for you.

Why don't you take the cat in? If you can't turn it over to a rescue so a responsible caring home can be found for it.

You should feed it if you had it for about 9 months. it seems like you guys really bonded. if you like her cat keep it . but it is your choice if you want to keep it. i personally think that since you've had it that long you should keep it because if you give it away it heart may get broken again and feels that no one wants her/him. so keep it

It is only your cat if you want it to be. But, it sounds like it is. If you don't want it, ask around and give it to someone who does, or take it to an animal shelter.

If the real owner hasn't claimed it, you should try to get a hold of her, if you can't, then its yours. If you don't want it or just can't keep it, drop it off at a No-Kill shelter. Not the Anti-Cruelty Society, they'll put it to sleep if no one adopts it.

Probably the cat thinks that you own her now. If you don't tend to her, then take her to the shelter. At least she/he won't get mutilated.

if you love the cat and you do then take it home and give it a home. You are a kind person to do this.
