He's not nice to you if he does not listen to you. You may think he is because of financial and intimate gifts...but if he doesn't listen to you he doesn't respect you. After two years it is going to be hard but maybe you should question this relationship of yours. Maybe you need to move on.

You can try to change him or make him do it for you but it's not who he is and rarely will the change to make someone else happy last forever. So either accept how he reacts and keep hoping that you can change him or keep trying to change him till he does and somewhere down the road you can argue and ask why all over again and possibly be one of the many unhappily married people "who just don't understand what went wrong" He may understand what you are saying but you might be trying to project what you expect him to do and it's not what he's about.

most of the time guys think financial support is enough to keep a girl
in a relationship but the most important thing in a relationship is how both persons feel about each other.
you better ask him to take it more serious and don't turn it around. maybe he thinks he's dominant and he doesn't want to take what you say and these guys think they are always right.
talk to him in a serious way and stay on your feet.

Welcome to Men 101.
Men seem to grow up believing that communication is an optional component in a relationship. He may actually THINK you said "I'm bored, so I think I'll try to talk all night about something you can't possibly understand and would be clueless to change."
If you need more help, I suggest the book, "Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus". Good Luck!

if you are having problem with him emotionally then time to talk
to him about how you feel. it sound like he does not care for
you as much as you care for him. that could be a problem down'
the road. talk to him and let him know, that you need more
of him to be open to you.because he may not understand what
you really are looking for. sometime actions speak louder then
words.

Communication...if he's not taking the time to listen to you, you and him need to have a serious talk.

It means he's not worth it. You should be with someone who respects you. Money and sex don't mean much without it.
