Your mom must have been quite good in Math at your age and hopes the same for you, and gets frustrated when she finds that you didn't inherit her Math gene, instead you inherited your Dad's low Math score gene.

Do let her know that, "Mom! I am not you, I can only be as good as I can be, you know I am doing my best here, you need to give me some time, a lot slack and patience. This way you will only push me away from Math forever, I am sure you don't want that."

Once she understands that I am sure she will give up her anger and tantrum and become more patient with you.

Kids have a wonderful way of offering parents ways to unlearn childhood habits and you sure are doing so unknowingly.

Know that, it is not her fault nor is yours, so don't blame yourself for her anger and tantrum, let her know that calmly and politely, someone has to act grown up here, don't you think so?

relies upon what you propose by potential of chatting with herself and to what volume. I confer with myself while i'm questioning aloud, as do all my pals. Does she have conversations with herself? Does she confer with herself once you're attempting to speak to her? Does the guy she is chatting with tell her what to do? additionally you are able to desire to think of roughly what harm is it doing? So she talks to herself, that may no longer hurting her or every physique else so it won't be a topic. different than for my 0.33 question - if somebody is chatting along with her and telling her what to do then she must be schizophrenic wherein case she desires to make certain a physician.

ask her if she will help you get a math tutor, it may cost a bit of money or there may be people that volunteer to help kids with school subjects, get her involved, this will show her you agree with her and her being able to help will make her feel better, also remember to thank her for her help as adults who respect each otherr remember to acknowledge each othe with a thank you

Tell her you love her, and that you will at least try to improve. I'm sure she's not really mad--just a little frustrated.
