A very, very, very small percentage might. But thats a personal choice of theirs and doesn't speak for the rest of us.

marijuana is an herb. and tho it's possible that some early herbalists had access to marijuana it's not a plant that is indigenous to northern Europe where most "witches" were persecuted for practicing their medicinal craft.

as for your "demon". i suggest your "demon" was always there and your encounter with some high potency cannabis simply made you more aware of some the nastier aspects of your personality. as long as you fail to acknowledge that this "demon" is an aspect of your sublimated psyche and refuse to "own" it you will never be able to change or conquer it.

i suppose if you went through the cathartic process of an exorcism you could get rid of your "demon" by reburying your problem under a mountain of ritualistic mumbo jumbo but in all truth to blame your sudden awareness of some unpleasant aspects of your Id on marijuana and "demons" is rather ridiculous.

PS. did your demon prevent you from using the spell checker?

Belladonna, peyote, and tobacco were used. Not sure about mary jay. But if you have a demon, your only real hope is in an excorcism. Catholic priests know how to deal with their kind, as do some fundamentalists. I know. You don't have to roll your eyes at me. But if you want to be free, that's the only way I know.

No, it wasn't. Actually marijuana was used as medicine and by many native peoples to celebrate their various holidays and gatherings. As for your other problem, I can't really help you. It's up to you to get rid of the unwanted. Maybe a good church or exorcist may be in order here. Good luck and I'll pray for you.

Huh? Generally no. Most consider it to be something that makes things muddled, not clearer. And a witch seeks a clear mind.

Not in the "old days". Belladonna and other toxic plants were, though, upon occasion.
