I want to dye my hair black but I don't want people at school to think im the following things..emo, goth, poser, or depressed freak...and my original hair color is dark brown...any help would be great!...thanx!=)

You could either slowly go darker,so it isnt as obvious, or just say 'stuff it if they think that, I am doing what I want to make me happy'.
I am as guilty as anyone of worrying what other people think of me and it is crazy, who are we living for? us or them?. If we spend our lives worrying about others we will may make others happy but we will be miserable.
Not everyone that has dark hair is a 'goth' or whatever people want to label you. I think that would be more if you dyed your hair black and all of a sudden started wearing all black etc. People can be called 'goth' if there hair isnt black, buy just there clothes.

Well, I don't think that your hair alone will label you as one of these things. It's your entire image. If you wear dark colours and tons of makeup, people will see you as emo, goth, poser, etc. If you keep the clothes fun and colourful(not meaing you can't wear any black) and wear the right types of makeup to compliment your skin tones and face shape, you won't look like you are trying to follow one of these trends.

who cares what they think. If you want to dye your hair black, then do it. and there's nothing wrong with emos, and goth.

If you want to dye your hair black, go ahead and do it. Your attitude will say more than your hair color.

keep in mind...that if you dye it black its a pain in the butt to get it back to a lighter color without having it stripped...which causes major damage....so if you go black you better be sure you're gonna like it...

Go to a salon and get it professionally tinted, and be happy
