If you have the flu and your sure it's the flu and not just a cold then yes you should see a doctor because like it or not your baby is gonna get sick. She will deal with a lot better than you will because she is a baby but may need antibiotics should it turn into an ear infection.

That feels like rotavirus. "Flu" is truthfully an higher breathing virus. What your little one turns out to have is a extreme gastroenteritis. I could take her to the medical institution with a fever like that during any such younger little one and he or she is mostly getting dehydrated. Try to provide her a few Pedialyte to hold her hydrated, however steer clear of something with dairy or lactose in it (it is going to worsen her belly additional). If she will keep down drinks, corresponding to Pedialyte, then you'll be able to keep residence and contact her surgeon within the morning. But if she is displaying indicators of dehydration and are not able to keep something down for greater than 12 hours, she demands on the spot scientific concentration. If her eyes seem sunken, her fontanels (gentle spots on her cranium) are sunken or if she isn't urinating a lot, possibilities are she is dehydrated and demands to visit the medical institution. She would possibly require IV re-hydrating. I'm so sorry your youngster is unwell.

Call your doctor and see if there is a way to prevent her from getting the flu from you (especially if you're breast feeding). I thought babies that small have a natural immunity to some diseases, but I would call your doctor to be sure. Make sure you check her temperature a couple times a day to be sure she isn't already getting sick and wash your hands frequently. Good luck!

Go to the Dr. he can prescribe something to keep her from dehydrating if she really gets the flu. She has no way of telling you what hurts except to cry. You need to take care of you in the meantime. Arrange some help and care so you can rest and recuperate.

I was at Immediate Care this morning for the Flu. My 8 1/2 month old, however, has no signs of it whatsoever! He is breastfeeding and we are together all day every day. Their immune systems are amazing while babies. You should take care of yourself though, if you feel too bad you won't be able to take very good care of her. And if she starts to show any signs of it I would suggest to take her too. (((HUGS))) for you both!
