Ask yourself a question?? What did he do to your friend to make her think he was a jerk? Would he do it to you? Also, talking to a guy that went out with your friend is well it can be akward for you him and your friend. If you feel very strongly about this then persue it but make sure you have all the facts first and i would definately make sure its not going to end in the loss of a good friend.

Is that one guy that important to get with? I think u answered u own quest u said,
" i dont think she'd be happy if she knew i liked him, seh thinks hes a "big jerk" and all..but he's so sweet".....bet at one time she felt the same but u tell me now....who should be more important , where is the respect to the bf put urself in her shoes and reverse the situation how would u feel?
we tend to not want to see red flags sometimes when there smack in front of us huh???

think about it I doubt this guy is a lifer meaning not goin to marry you an karma will prob nip ur bud meaning in da azzzz if u play with fire. i had a bf 30 yrs i washed my hands of her for similar reasons and i let karma do the rest.
A friend especially a best friend I would not even be giving it a thought....u know there are plenty murders and con artist out there that are SWEET too.....c'mon really think and listen to yourself...let it go or i feel u may lose alot in the end for what a GUY thats sweet.....now time to be real and do the right thing you would want ur best friend to do.....or at least speak w/ur friend first about this, keep ur trust there between the two of ya at least and respect her enough to speak w/her about it.

No, do not date him. Guys will come and go thru-out your life, but a best friend is forever. No guy, no matter how sweet or cute is worth hurting your best friends feelings. Women need to stick together and quit backstabbing each other over men. Plus, did you ever think that maybe he's flirting with you just to make her mad?

How much do you value your friendship?
It's not OK. Even if she's over him she doesn't need to see you both getting along like that. It would hurt her feelings, break her heart, make her soooo jealous to see you and him happy, in love etc when her couldn't find that with her.
I'd find someone else. Or really have a close chat with her about it first. Friendship is hard to find. You don't won't to upset her.

No you should not date him... one of the rules of dating don't date your best friends left overs...there's more men out there get your own you will prob end up losing a good friend if you do.

Stay away from him. You know how you would feel if your best friend went out with your ex, even if you were over him.

Ask her permission. If she says it's okay, go for it. If not, then forget it, it's not worth ruining the friendship.
