Isis used to be a major deity in egypt, and many still worship her today. Some believe that at a temple that was originally isaiac, many women who sleep there have had visions of the Virgin Mary. Any thoughts on this?

You can say any relgion is a cult. I happen to belong to a cult, and I'm tired of people treating the term as a bad thing.

Isis was a vergin mother to (i beleive it was) horus Long before Mary and Jesus, so if they had visions of a vergin mother in a temple for Isis then it would be Isis NOT Mary.

It's all a myth anyway.

Old religion, surprised it isn't a dead one. I wasn't even aware that Isis had a following.
