I have recently lost over 70 pounds and am a size 14. But my breasts are still too big, a DDD or E cup. I want to have a reduction but am scared. Any advice?

http://www.breasthealthonline.com was a great help to me in my breast reduction journey. it can be scary as it is two major surgeries done to your body. I had mine done back in Feb '06 and LOVE IT! From a 38J to a 38C.

Check out that site, many women have gone through it and don't regret it one bit.

Congratulations on your weight loss! WOW! I had a breast reduction 1 1/2 years ago and it has been great. I'm generally a size 12/14 and my breasts were a DD. I am now a C and love it. I went to a reputable doctor (my mother-in-law had the same surgery there- 2 1/2 pounds removed from each breast for her!) and my insurance covered everything. My scarring isn't that big of a deal and continues to improve along with regaining the feeling in my breasts. This surgery alone will make you look thinner and your back and shoulders will thank you!

Congrats on the weight lost you should be proud ok now about the reduction I had one June 2006...... I was squeezing into a DDD I dont know if you have insurance or not but just by you being that big they will pay for it....go to your dr. and talk to him or her about it ......it is painful at first but it is worth it.....the grooves in your shoulders will go away and so will the back pain...even if you dont have any back problems its still a good idea to get one so that your body can be proportionate .....plus it will be a lot easier to find bras and cheaper too.......

Have a reduction ONLY if you are having severe back problems. Use a bra that has excellent support. Think about all the ladies who are paying big $$$ and putting their health at risk just to have their breast enlarge.
Be proud of your breast and do not have a reduction.

Breast Reduction surgery is very safe nowadays. My cousin got her breast reduction, tummy tuck and facelift surgery in India by the company called Forerunners Healthcare .The Price for the surgery she paid in India was very less. She paid 30% of the cost she was quoted in America.

Forerunners Healthcare is very famous in India. They arrange cosmetic and plastic surgery for foreigners in India. I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and about their patient stories. They arrange financing for USA, Canadian, UK and other international patients who plan to have surgery abroad for low price, as the breast reduction, tummy tuck, facelift and other cosmetic surgery is not covered by insurance. They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. There are huge cost savings. As a doctor I personally believe that surgery can be easily handled in India, as the quality of healthcare available In India is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.

Hope this helps.

You have a great question I wish I knew how to answer other than try to get down to your ideal size before considering undergoing the knife.
