A friend of mine has a beige counter top in her bathroom. She recently used the faux technique of ragging with a creamsicle-orange color. There are usually plenty of pamphlets available in the paint store on how to do faux techniques.

I took a quick look at Sherwin Williams for a color sample and found No. 6891-Mandarin a pretty close match to the color she used.

A combination of aqua blue and beige (or white) towels would look really sharp with orange. If your budget allows, brushed or stainless steel hardware and accesories (soap dispenser, toothbrush holder, etc) are modern and fresh. Otherwise, sticking with beige for continuity or white for fresh/crispness would be nice too.

Sherwin-Williams has some really nice tools on their website. I know a professional painter, and he swears SW is the best on the market.

Good luck and have fun!

How about a Magenta or Crimson? If you are into that kind of decorating, but go to www.tradingspaces.com and you'll see what I'm talking about, they are gorgeous colors together, especially the Crimson, it'll give your bathroom quite an elegant look, if you are on the softer colors, you might want to go with an aqua, teal or a lavender.
Best wishes
